Esmé, Billy and Rachel are so friendly, efficient and professional. The whole experience of having my hair cut is just a great experience the moment you walk through the door. Also it's not expensive compared to other dedicated barbers nearby. I would definitely recommend Hair by Esmé to anybody.

Esme makes sure that she remembers every detail about you, your hair and your personal style and preferences. She is extremely professional, capable and truly listens to you and your wishes. I like her honesty and professional advice about certain things that would not be good for my curly hair. She follows a curly hair friendly procedure when washing, cutting and drying my hair and only after finding Esme, I not only have a great colour but also finally have locks that don't look sad and frizzy but bouncy and healthy instead. I have been seeing Esmé for about 3 years now. She truly has a gift, not just for hairdressing, but her natural warmth and kindness makes the salon feel like a home from home. Her colour work is artistry, every colour I have had done by her has been flawless. Both my teenage children have their hair styled by Esme or Abbie, they refuse to go anywhere else. Every stylist who works there is happy and chatty and conversation flows from chair to chair. You want to be quiet and relaxed? They do that perfectly too.

Best cut and colour I’ve ever had -I am SO happy with it and feel a million dollars! As a curly haired person you often get a weird cut but esme really understands hair, listens and has an incredible eye - it’s never looked better. I live in London and it’s worth coming up for Esme. She’s so talented and kind, and the salon feels a real home from home. As an awkward person, chatting with her was so easy and I didn’t notice the time go by. Please go! First time having a cut and blow dry today. I absolutely loved, how my hair looked, and felt after. I have a complicated relationship with my hair, so it’s nice to have a style that brings me peace, and ease. I felt completely relaxed in the salon and nearly fell asleep while having my hair washed. My hair is very thick and can overwhelm some hair dressers, so they just use the hair straighteners. But this hair dresser took the hardest option and blow dried it with a lovely, and wavy bounce. I love the cut too and the very reasonable price that I paid.

I love this place! I’ve tried several local salons in Sleaford since moving to the area and none are up to the standard of Esme. I’ll drive 30 minutes instead of 3 to get Esme to do my colour and cut - she’s always cheery and does a fantastic job leaving a really natural colour and faultless blow dry and cut. They’re really accommodating - they don’t mind me scoffing down my dinner when I go straight from work. It’s a fun and relaxed environment - not judgey or pretentious like others I’ve been to. She provides great value and consistent pricing. The icing on the cake... the cutest two little sausage dogs that chill out in the salon all day give free cuddles! Highly recommend.

Easily the best hair colour Iv had in years. A lot of places offer balyage without any concept of how you actually do it. Abbie is confident and highly skilled, beautiful colour, sharp cut and brilliant value. Would recommend this salon and Abbie to anyone.
