Love the Bothy and the Hayloft ! Very nice and helpful host, Sherry her husband Irven are very nice and friendly. Any small issues we've had, it was fixed quickly. We've had to extend our stay a few times and they were very flexible and accommodating to help us. My first time booking an AirBnB and it was a great experience. Will definitely recommend to families and friends !

Myself and my partner stayed here recently in the downstairs accommodation which was called the Bothy. I just want to say how much we enjoyed this beautiful place! It's tucked away so very quiet and we were told we could walk through the gardens which opened up to some wonderful views over the fields down to the next village and local pub, The Penny Farthing (15 min walk). Sherry and Irven were wonderful hosts and showed us around the accommodation then left us to settle in, saying if there was anything we needed, to just ask. (Owners live on site). The hamper was a lovely touch, as were the handmade soaps and natural products in the bathroom as well as dressing gowns and plenty of towels to use. The bath was amazing and I made good use of it! The kitchen was well equipped with a good supply of tea, coffee and sugar. There was milk and butter in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and bedding was very cosy which was a blessing as the weather wasn't too good! There is a single box bed in the lounge suitable for a small child and the accommodation is suitable for a small/medium size dog, both at a small additional cost. Everywhere was clean, tidy and smelt gorgeous. We couldn't find one thing wrong with the accommodation and will definitely come back soon! Thankyou Sherry and Irven Rooms: Clean, comfortable bed, extra blankets available. Nearby activities: Kinema In The Woods which is the local cinema. Jubilee Park Gardens, tennis court, gym and swimming pool. Lincoln Cathedral and Castle Safety: Tucked away off the road, security lights at the front of the property and hosts live on site and are contactable via phone or knocking on their front door. Walkability: Great countryside walks from the door. Food & drinks: Hamper supplied which consisted of treats such as local Lincolnshire plum bread, jams, crisps, chocolates and a bottle of wine. There was milk and butter in the fridge.

My partner and I stayed in the Hayloft recently. The room was beautiful, cosy and clean. We didn't want to leave. We loved the area, perfect for anyone who wants a quiet break. It's around a ten minute drive to the nearest shop. Sherry could not make us feel more welcome, was very attentive and friendly when we arrived. We spent a day with her doing the chocolate making course, we had a lot of fun and came away with delicious chocolates that we made ourselves. Definitely worth it. Can't recommend enough for those wanting a quiet break.

Lovely covered stables rented by a lovely couple. Was staying in the bothy the smaller of the two holiday homes. I was in the area for work and stayed with them for nearly a month. I felt so comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. It was a little home away from home and I could come back to and relax after a long day at work. Will be back if I find myself in the area for work again.
